The Construction Crew Step Opportunity

The Construction Crew (aka the Crew) is a supportive temporary employment opportunity. The Crew is made up of individuals experiencing poverty who have one or more of the following barriers to employment: homeless or housing instability, felony record, lack of job skills and/or education, and substance abuse. The Crew provides a positive work history, hard and soft job skills, and a living wage while transforming vacant housing into affordable homes sold to l ow-income families through RTW�s Homeownership Opportunity RTW will accept Crew member referrals from congregations who sponsor crew positions. RTW will identify other Crew members from our immediate neighborhood and as we welcome home incarcerated neighbors re-entering the community.

Interested in Home Ownership?

Rebuilding the Wall is currently recruiting families interested in being first time homeowners in Citizen's King-Park & Martindale Brightwood Communities. Rebuilding the Wall partners with low income families to help them pursue their dream of first time homeownership. To qualify, families must be currently employed or have a steady source of income and must be able to devote six volunteer hours(per adult)per month toward the construction of their family home.
